Visit us here to find out more about Industry X.0  The Practice: Intelligent Asset Management, With A Team of Leading Practitioners having deep functional & industry knowledge specializing in the areas of Asset Integrity and Reliability Management, Master Data Management, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) & Maintenance Execution, Material & MRO Management, Industry Analytics and Digital Industrial Workforce. We serve across various industry verticals, and we are looking for candidates with EAM experience in Discrete & Process manufacturing verticals, covering Auto / Aero & Defense / Oil & Gas / Chemicals / Pharmaceuticals / Consumer Goods / Hi-Tech segments. Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Maximo Test Lead to drive end-to-end quality assurance for an IBM Maximo upgrade project. The successful candidate will own the full testing lifecycle from strategy through to sign-off, working closely with functional, technical, and business teams to ensure a high-quality, low-risk transition to the upgraded Maximo environment. Responsibilities Define and lead the overall testing approach for the upgrade, covering scope, phases, effort estimates, and resource planningEstablish clear entry and exit criteria for each test phase, ensuring full coverage of impacted modules, customizations, and integration pointsAlign the test plan to project milestones and overall program scheduleLead the creation and execution of test scenarios and scripts across all testing phases — SIT, UAT, Regression, and Performance TestingEnsure traceability between test cases, business requirements, and upgrade change impactsMaintain consistency and rigour in testing standards across all workstreamsManage the full defect lifecycle from identification through to closure, including triage, prioritization, and retest coordinationProactively identify testing risks and escalate blockers earlyWork collaboratively with technical and functional teams to resolve issues efficiently and within agreed timelinesProvide day-to-day leadership to a mixed team of functional testers, technical testers, and business SMEs participating in UATFacilitate defect triage sessions, daily stand-ups, and phase review meetingsFoster a focused, collaborative testing environment throughout the project lifecycleServe as the single point of contact for all testing activity on the projectDeliver clear, timely test progress reports and dashboards to the Project Manager and steering committeeTranslate testing metrics into meaningful insights that support informed go/no-go decisionsOversee test environment setup, data preparation, and environment refresh cycles in coordination with the Maximo technical teamValidate data migration outcomes and ensure all interfaces and integrations are thoroughly tested prior to each phase gate
