What matters most in this role is your ability to read your environment, identify potential risks, and respond appropriately. Strong observation skills, sound judgment, situational awareness, and effective communication are essential to success in this position.
As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is also important. You will be active throughout your shift, regularly walking and patrolling assigned areas. You may work in a variety of environments, including retail stores, airports, security facilities, and other client sites.
We are looking for individuals who are alert, professional, physically capable, and confident in dealing with different situations and people.

Conduct regular patrols of critical areas to identify and deter suspicious or unauthorized activity.
Verify identification and control access to restricted and secure areas.
Respond quickly and professionally to security threats, incidents, and emergencies.
Document incidents, actions taken, and observations through clear and accurate reports.
Monitor and verify the proper functioning of security systems, including alarms and surveillance cameras.
Respond to alarms and conduct on-site investigations and security checks as required.
Maintain a strong security presence and ensure compliance with site procedures and protocols.
Work collaboratively with law enforcement and emergency services during serious incidents when required.
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Must hold a valid Security Guard Licence.
Valid First Aid certification is required.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
Strong observation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain alert, professional, and composed in a variety of situations.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and varying shifts, as required.
