What you’ll do  


The Manager, Commercial Analytics leads Commercial Analytics for the Accelerator business—the division supporting the legacy Kellanova brands along with KIND and Nature's Bakery. The role is responsible for managing the ongoing relationship with Sales and Marketing to ensure the successful integration of Kellanova’s Commercial plan.  The position works closely with Sales and Marketing to Strategize, develop, execute and track the progress of our Commercial plans. 

This role is based in Mississauga with regular in-office collaboration expected. Flexibility is a key enabler—empowering associates to make choices that support both business outcomes and personal needs, including remote work.


What are we looking for?


  • Postsecondary education or work experience equivalent
  • 5+ years in Consumer Packaged Goods industry
  • Advanced analytical capabilities with experience leveraging syndicated, POS and customer data sources to develop actionable business recommendations
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills with experience presenting recommendations to senior leadership
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience evaluating financial performance, business cases, forecasts, and growth opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop long-term growth strategies and translate insights into executable commercial plans
  • Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, communication, presentation  and time management skills
  • Strong technology skills of PC applications including MS Office
  • Valid Driver's license in Canada

 

What will be your key responsibilities?


  • Represents Sales and our customers to all head office functions.  Ensures that all corporately driven programs and initiatives can be executed with our customers.
  • Frequent cross functional collaboration with Sales account team, Brand team, Shopper Marketing, Category Management, Supply Chain, Demand Planning team on ad hoc projects and initiatives.
  • Leverage retailer, shopper, consumer, and syndicated data to uncover insights, identify performance drivers, and translate findings into clear business recommendations.
  • Quarterly presentations of annual strategy to sales account team and retail field team and lead the Sales and Marketing Summit commercial plan presentation for account teams and National Sales meeting content for field sales
  • Lead merchandising strategy including development and changes to display vehicles to maximize store points of interruption, profit, and enable retailer opportunities presented by sales account team
  • As a people manager, this role will also be responsible for leading and coaching 1 direct report.
