Purpose of Job
The Foundations associate position supports dedicated Foundations manager(s) and their book of charitable-minded clients from across Canada. The successful candidate will work in a team-oriented environment to provide administrative support and exceptional donor service to an assigned group of charitable funds managed by Aqueduct Foundation a registered charity.
The Foundations Associate will carry out instructions from donors, their advisors, and other external contacts within the business and charitable community under the guidance and direction of the Foundations manager which predominantly include distributions out to other registered charities and contributions to donor advised funds. In addition, the Foundations associate is responsible for cash management, CRM maintenance on charitable software – Foundant, raising funds with various investment managers, administration to establish new funds, weekly and monthly reconciliation between CRM system and bank systems.
Key Job Accountabilities
The successful candidate must have previous experience working in a dedicated administrative position.
The candidate should be highly organized and able to work through high volumes. They must be able to process tasks accurately and efficiently often in a time-sensitive environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills are required as communication is primarily through email and telephone.
As the Philanthropic Team is small, a team-focused individual with a positive attitude is required.

Education and Other Requirement
The successful candidate will have exceptional client service skills, proven administrative support experience, be highly organized and be able to work well in a team-oriented environment.
In addition to French, the successful candidate must also have sufficient knowledge of English, as the work involves interacting and collaborating regularly with groups and individuals based in Toronto, as well as constantly interacting with other people, including clients, who speak English, locally and elsewhere.
