Working closely with technology, analytics, and business stakeholders, you will play a key role in shaping enterprise data strategy and implementing Microsoft Purview to support governance, metadata management, lineage, compliance, and AI readiness. Your work will help create a reliable data foundation that empowers informed decision-making and future innovation.

Your Responsibilities
You'll lead the design of conceptual, logical, and physical enterprise data models and target-state architecture for Microsoft Fabric and Azure data platforms.
You'll establish enterprise architecture principles, standards, governance processes, and scalable data integration, transformation, and consumption patterns.
You'll design and implement Microsoft Purview capabilities, including metadata management, data cataloging, lineage, classifications, stewardship, and governance workflows.
You'll develop business glossary, ontology, taxonomy, semantic-layer standards, and enterprise data governance controls.
You'll enable analytics-ready and AI-ready data foundations through Lakehouse, Medallion Architecture, and Data Vault 2.0 design patterns.
You'll collaborate with stakeholders to integrate Purview with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Lake, OneLake, and Microsoft 365 services.
Skills and Qualifications
8+ years of progressive experience in enterprise data architecture and enterprise data management.
Demonstrated expertise designing Microsoft Fabric architecture and implementing Microsoft Purview governance solutions.
Strong experience with Data Vault 2.0, Medallion Architecture, Lakehouse, and Data Lake design principles.
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, OneLake, metadata management, and data lineage.
Experience developing business glossaries, ontology, taxonomy, semantic models, and enterprise governance frameworks.
TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification, Microsoft Fabric certification, or Purview implementation experience is considered an asset.
Experience supporting large enterprise or public sector data governance, analytics modernization, or AI enablement initiatives is highly desirable.
