Job Summary:
This individual will be part of the Spotlight HR team and will support our Advertising teams based at our headquarters in New York. Primary responsibilities include serving as initial point of contact for employee inquiries, issues and all employee life cycle events. Will also provide support to Human Resources Business Partners. Ensures that department policies and procedures are in compliance with various Human Resources and Labor laws. Maintains ongoing compliance with all regulations that affect the Human Resources division and communicates any changes to the Management team. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.

Core Responsibilities:
- Partners with and provides support to HR leaders to ensure the delivery of outstanding service in the areas of employee engagement, talent acquisition, employee development/orientation, employee relations, compensation, performance management, and organizational change and improvement.
- Counsels, orientates, and trains managers and supervisors on the interpretation and administration of Human Resources policies.
- Assists in creation & evaluation of reports in relation to the department's established goals.
- Assists recruiting personnel with eRecruiting's forms, approval processes, postings, and publications.
- Assists in the investigation and resolution of employee issues.
- Supports leadership planning and responds to feedback from management and employees through various sources including surveys, suggestions, and employee advisory groups.
- Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to maintain efficient and effective services.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities include:
- Supports employee onboarding efforts
- Supports communication efforts in regard to HR priorities and initiatives
- Handle routine transactions, ad hoc reporting and auditing of HRIS
- Identify and support efforts for HR business process excellence

Job Specification:

- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent-Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of employees.
- Strong reporting and analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Proactive and ability to work independently-Generally requires 2-5 years related HR experience
