We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer for our Chicago, IL office. Responsibilities: • Design bridges and conduct structural analyses, develop calculations and plan preparation in accordance with state and local agency requirements. • Responsible for working on bridge design projects and other transportation-related structural design and analysis projects. • Evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques for design of steel and concrete structures. • May conduct site inspections and other responsibilities associated with this position. Qualifications: • B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering is required. Master’s degree in Structural Engineering, is preferred. • EIT Certification is required. • Strong technical skills in steel and concrete structures design and plan preparation. • Working knowledge of CADD (Microstation experience preferred) and typical structural design and analysis software. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal skills.
