Job Summary
As an Oracle Fusion Senior database engineer, you will be responsible for the administration, management, and optimization of Oracle Fusion Integration Cloud and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our Oracle environments to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
• Administer, manage, and support Oracle Fusion , Oracle Integration Cloud and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Perform database administration tasks including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of Oracle databases.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Implement and manage database security policies, user access, and permissions.
• Facilitate database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, providing 24/7 support as needed.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews of database environments to ensure compliance with best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest Oracle technologies, features, and trends.
• Facilitate the design of Oracle custom reporting and use of relevant data.
• Understand the Oracle data structure and support with data ingestion and extraction in support of integration with third party systems.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Oracle DBA, with a focus on Oracle Fusion Middleware.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and backup/recovery processes.
Required Skills
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and shell scripting.
• Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN.
• Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager and other monitoring tools.
• Experience with creation, maintenance and configuration of run books related to Oracle database schemas.
Preferred Qualifications
• Oracle certification(s) (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional - OCP).
