GardaWorld  are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Static Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing static protection services to ensure the safety and security of all client staff and other personnel.

Static Security Officer

Rotation 

8 weeks on, 4 weeks off subject to operational requirements

Role Requirements

Only candidates that meet and are able to demonstrate the below hiring criteria’s will be considered:

  • Candidates must be in possession of valid NATO Secret Clearance. 

  • Graduated from a military or police academy, and served a minimum of 3 years full time service;

  • Security experience: a minimum of 3 years in the security sector, and preferably with diplomatic missions or embassies;

  • English according to, at least, level A2 as defined in the standards available at http://europass.cedefop.europa.eu/en/resources/european-language-levels-cefr;

  • Trained and competent in the use of the guard force weapons, as attested by his/her training record and test results;

  • Knowledge of radio procedure;

  • Knowledge in basic first aid and fire-fighting;

  • Basic skills in unarmed control and restraint techniques an advantage.

 

Services

Services provided by the contractor shall include, but not be limited to the provision of static guarding services to ensure the safety and security of all client staff and other personnel. Services the contractor can expect to carry out, but are not limited to are as follows: 

  • Ensuring the security of client buildings and staff by deterring, detecting, and preventing any attempts of intrusion or attack as per SOPs and Contingency Plans.
  • Providing access control for staff, visitors, and contractors, including vehicle and equipment checks, as well as identification badge management.
  • Responding immediately to incidents in accordance with SOPs and Contingency Plans.
  • Undertaking reception and registration procedures for all persons entering the premises.
  • Screening incoming mail and other deliveries.
  • Operating, monitoring, and basic maintenance of security equipment such as walkthrough metal detectors, x-ray machines, and handheld metal detectors.
  • Manning duty posts and conducting internal and external patrols to ensure the security of the buildings.
  • Immediately reporting any incidents or unusual activity to the Regional Management Team.
  • Undertaking any other directions or reasonable requests given by the appropriate GardaWorld Management team in accordance with GW Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines.
