JOB DESCRIPTION

About This Role

The role we are offering you:

As a glass technician for the MAD (magnetic anomaly detection product) production department, you will be responsible for the production of bulbs and magnetic resonance cells.

Your challenges:

Blow, shape, separate or assemble glass components to very precise dimensions
Inspect parts on a microscopic scale to identify microcracks, scratches and check glass wall thickness
Operate a vacuum and pumping system to control the pressures of different gases
Act as a reference point for engineering (technical support and analysis of recurring issues arising from repairs)
Contribute to ensuring the maintenance of quality certifications (ISO 9001 at AS9100) for the department

Our ideal candidate has:

DEC in laboratory technique, glass blowing or any other relevant combination
3 years of professional experience
Chemical and thermodynamic knowledge
Has good technical analysis
Know how to work meticulously
Highly organized, good time management skills
Good verbal and written communication in French and English.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team and collaborate
Mastery of the Office Suite, particularly Excel,
