Salary: $95,000 per Year
 

Our client is seeking to hire a dynamic and motivated Property Manager to oversee the management of our residential properties, ensuring a high standard of living for tenants and optimizing the performance of the properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of property operations, including tenant relations, maintenance coordination, lease management, and financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
  • Manage the leasing process, including showings, lease negotiations, renewals, and move-in/out procedures.
  • Ensure tenant satisfaction by maintaining high service standards and conducting regular property inspections.
  • Coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and emergency services with vendors and contractors.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential maintenance issues proactively.
  • Implement preventative maintenance schedules to maintain property value and safety standards.
  • Prepare and manage property budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize financial performance.
  • Oversee rent collection, enforce lease terms, and manage delinquency processes.
  • Provide monthly financial reports to property owners, including income statements, budgets, and occupancy rates.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants and reduce vacancy rates.
  • Conduct market research to set competitive rental rates and maximize occupancy. Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, lease agreements, and renewals.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including fair housing regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property management regulations and industry trends.
  • Manage tenant disputes and legal matters, including evictions, in collaboration with legal counsel when necessary.
  • Prepare regular reports on property performance, occupancy rates, and financial status for property owners.
  • Maintain open and transparent communication with property owners, providing updates on operations, budgets, and potential improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in residential property management or a similar role.
  • Previous experience in people management.
  • Strong knowledge of property management practices and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Yardi. 
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple properties and prioritize tasks effectively.
