Agilus is recruiting for a Business Development Manager - Water & Waste Water Processing in the Engineering Industry in Calgary, Alberta. In this role you are responsible for identifying key opportunities in the market, connecting with key decision makers and showcasing the benefits of the water solutions to the prospective client. A typical day: Create and execute strategic business development plans targeting key clients and leads. Identify and set business development targets and KPI’s. Pursue new business opportunities within the engineering and industrial sectors with keen focus on the process water purification and reuse space. Travel to meet clients and attend industry events. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, key decisions makers, industry associations, and key stakeholders. Create and deliver presentations to showcase company products, ability to create client buy in and demonstrate competitive advantage in the market. Stay up-to-date on current industry trends and developments relevant to our domain expertise. Successful candidates will have: 15+ years of industry experience with minimum of 10 yrs in Business Development. Proven experience in business development, preferably in the engineering or industrial sectors. Strong understanding of process engineering and water reuse technologies. Strong understanding of the engineering and project services business, including reimbursable and lump sum work. Valid Driver’s License required for occasional travel. Experience with CRM systems and maintaining client databases. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Total rewards: Base salary + commission structure.
