We are looking for Casual Security Guards to fill assignments for various client sites in Saskatoon and outside of Saskatoon. The security guard (flex) will be playing a crucial role in maintaining the public security.

What is a Flex Security Guard? A Flex Security Guard provides support to multiple sites and can adapt to different work environments easily. For Flex Guards, variety is the spice of life. You may be working at an office tower one week, and the next week you may work at a community college, then assigned to a condominium or retail mall. Your site is never the same - you will jump from one site to another while gaining knowledge about each one. Hours are flexible, and you can work up to 40 hours/week.

What does a Casual Security Guard in Saskatoon do?

  • Maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Access control of entryways and exit points using equipment at your disposal
  • Enforce property regulations and city bi-laws on the client's site
  • Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
  • Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues
  • Complete daily reports and incident reports
  • Provide excellent customer service

 

Qualification to become a Casual Security Guard in Saskatoon

  • Clean criminal background check
  • Saskatchewan Security Guard Training (we can help you get this)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service or security guard background
  • First aid and CPR certification is an asset
  • Good communication skills (written/oral)
  • Driver’s license and car (asset)
  • Excellent customer service and resourcefulness 
  • Good adaptability
