We are seeking a dedicated Debt Relief Manager to join our client's established and respected Consumer Insolvency Practice. This is an exceptional opportunity for a results-oriented individual with a strong background in insolvency and debt solutions.

This position requires work on-site in Ottawa.

In this rewarding role, you will play a pivotal role in:

  • Guiding Clients Through Recovery: Be the first point of contact for individuals seeking debt relief solutions. Through compassionate and expert consultations, you will assess their needs and recommend the most suitable solutions to navigate their financial recovery journey.
  • Expert Case Management: Manage a diverse caseload, overseeing all aspects of insolvency proceedings, including bankruptcies and consumer proposals. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure all required documentation is prepared, reviewed, and submitted accurately.
  • Building Trusting Relationships: Develop and nurture strong relationships with referral partners such as credit counselors, lawyers, and accountants. By promoting our services within the community, you will foster long-term partnerships built on trust.
  • Delivering Exceptional Service: Upholding the highest standards of client care is paramount. You will leverage your expertise to identify and address potential issues proactively, ensuring a smooth and successful insolvency process.
  • Teamwork & Collaboration: Work seamlessly with centralized teams and other departments to ensure consistent communication and exceptional client service throughout.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • A comprehensive understanding of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, including the ability to research and interpret relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, ensuring clear and compassionate client interactions.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a proven track record of achieving goals.
  • Unwavering integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
  • The ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • A collaborative and client-focused approach to teamwork.
