About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Business Analyst to join the Information Technology function of a large public sector organization. Youll support a business management team operating in a complex and evolving environment, helping turn business needs, data, and processes into practical solutions that improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
Reporting to a Solutions Manager, youll collaborate with cross-functional partners, peers, and leadership while working across business analysis, governance, reporting, and change support. This role is well suited to a versatile generalist who enjoys variety, can manage competing priorities, and is comfortable taking ownership of initiatives with moderate autonomy.

Your Responsibilities
Youll elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements across a variety of initiatives.
Youll develop process maps, workflows, business rules, operating frameworks, governance standards, and policies.
Youll analyze processes and recommend improvements that strengthen efficiency and business outcomes.
Youll collect and interpret data from multiple sources, using your findings to support management decision-making.
Youll develop reports, executive briefing materials, presentations, and concise summaries for leadership audiences.
Youll facilitate meetings, requirements sessions, and process reviews with cross-functional stakeholders.
Youll support change management communications, adoption activities, and compliance with operational controls.
Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree, or 8+ years with a diploma, in Business Administration, Commerce, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience with business requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, process mapping, and workflow analysis.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query and Power Pivot.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of business management and change management principles.
Experience preparing executive-level presentations, summaries, reports, and recommendations.
Strong written and spoken communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute work independently with minimal supervision.
