About the Opportunity
Are you a customer service professional who enjoys building relationships, taking ownership of accounts and seeing requests through from start to finish? Were hiring a permanent Customer Service Representative to join a close-knit team within a well-established organization in the industrial distribution sector.
This isnt a traditional high-volume call centre role. Youll also enjoy a Monday-to-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. schedule and a hybrid work model after training, giving you a balance of in-person collaboration and focused remote work.
Your Responsibilities
Youll take ownership of dedicated customer accounts, managing inquiries and orders through to completion.
Youll communicate with customers primarily through email and EDI systems, with approximately five to six calls per day.
Youll partner closely with sales representatives to support customer needs and may participate in account meetings.
Youll monitor and respond to a shared customer service inbox while balancing your individual account responsibilities.
Youll learn technical product information, including measurements and schematics, through comprehensive training.
Skills and Qualifications
1+ year of B2B customer service, account support, order management or similar experience.
Experience owning or supporting customer accounts and following orders through to completion.
Exposure to ERP, order-entry and/or EDI systems is an asset.
Strong written and spoken English communication skills, with written and spoken French considered an asset.
Technical aptitude, attention to detail and an ability to learn unfamiliar products and specifications.
A dependable, accountable approach with strong relationship-building and collaboration skills.
Ability to work fully onsite for approximately six weeks of training and three days per week thereafter.
