About the Opportunity
This is an opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to step into a hands-on contract role with an established organization and make an immediate impact. Youll support day-to-day Canadian payroll processing while helping the team prepare for an important transition from ADP Workforce Now to Dayforce, targeted for January 2027.
The team needs someone who can jump in, keep payroll running accurately and on schedule, and contribute practical Dayforce expertise throughout the implementation.

Your Responsibilities
Youll process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time across bi-weekly and semi-monthly cycles.
Youll manage payroll volumes of approximately 600800 part-time employees bi-weekly and semi-monthly.
Youll support the organizations transition from ADP Workforce Now to Dayforce.
Youll assist with Canadian payroll and provide U.S. payroll support as needed.
Youll ensure critical payroll deadlines are met, including working overtime when required.
Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on payroll experience, with strong end-to-end payroll knowledge.
Recent, practical Dayforce experience is required.
Experience working with ADP Workforce Now.
Canadian payroll expertise is required, with U.S. payroll experience considered a strong asset.
Strong Excel skills and the ability to work confidently with payroll data.
Payroll certification and previous managerial or leadership experience are considered assets.
A hands-on, adaptable approach with the ability to quickly contribute in a deadline-driven environment.
