Job description

                                                                                                         

This position is exclusively open to students pursuing a university degree. 

Internship dates: From January 4 to April 23 2027  


The role we are offering you:


By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects related to data analytics, reporting, business intelligence, and process improvement.

Detailed activities may include:


  • Developing and maintaining SharePoint Lists and Pages
  • Creating Power BI data models, dashboards, and reports
  • Building Power Automate workflows to support business processes
  • Researching and evaluating approaches for data collection and reporting
  • Supporting the design and implementation of performance metrics
  • Analyzing data and presenting findings to stakeholders
  • Participating in team meetings, demonstrations, and project discussions

Our ideal candidate has:


  • A base understanding of Object-Oriented programing
  • An interest in data analytics, business intelligence, or process improvement
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to learn new software and technologies independently
  • Experience with Excel, Power BI, Microsoft 365, SQL, or data visualization tools is considered an asset
  • Enjoys working in small collaborative teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Preferred Education


Enrolled in a STEM program pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related disciplines, preferably in their 3rd or 4th year.


Location of the internship is in the CAE Halifax office.

Internship will be carried out in hybrid mode.

*All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years. 

*Please take note that if you are on a student, work or international student permit, the delays for the security background check take minimum 16 weeks.
