Our client is a global healthcare leader in providing patient-care solutions in diagnostics, medical devices, nutritionals, and generic medicines. Agilus is hiring on behalf of their Ottawa facility for a Component Manufacturing Operator to cover a 6-month mat leave replacement. The ideal candidate for this role has previous experience in a manufacturing environment, is comfortable with comprehensive on-site and ongoing training, and is flexible with a 6-month contract. Responsibilities: Responsible for all actions required in the operation of the Klockner machine to produce calibration packs (calpaks) according to established policies and procedures Evaluate quality and productivity problems to minimize defects Make required material changes in a timely manner to minimize lost processing time Record accurate, legible data in a timely manner at all points in the process, in accordance with documented procedures and GMP standards and practices Properly uses equipment and materials and is careful about observing safety and security procedures Other miscellaneous duties as may be required Requirements: High School Diploma or College Diploma in the same field of work, must be validated by WES if education was obtained internationally Previous experience in a manufacturing environment Legally eligible to work in Canada Must be willing to pass a criminal background check Total compensation: $21.24 hourly Full Time Schedule Health & Dental Benefits Free On-Site Parking Soft skills: Strong communication This posting is for an active opening.
