Total rewards: $115000.00 - $165000.00 annually Build a Rewarding Long-Term Career Work with one of Canada's Top 3 Engineering Firms Pension Bonus Program A typical day: Lead a team of Electrical Engineers, Designers, and CAD personnel in the successful execution of various projects. Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to engineers-in-training and design staff. Prepare, review, and approve engineering calculations, designs, and technical deliverables. Develop electrical equipment specifications and detailed design, procurement, construction, and installation packages. Review vendor drawings and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications. Prepare conceptual designs, engineering studies, technical reports, and project proposals. Collaborate with project teams and client representatives to ensure effective communication and project execution. Monitor project progress and metrics, report project issues, and support site visits and inter-office project activities as required. Successful candidates will have: 12+ years of electrical engineering experience, preferably within EPCM environments supporting industrial, utilities, or metals projects. Engineering degree with Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation through PEO or another Canadian engineering association. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, industry regulations, codes, and standards. Proficiency with electrical design and analysis software including SPEL, ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, and ASPEN. Experience delivering complex projects within multidisciplinary engineering teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong stakeholder management abilities.
