Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture.

The Campus Recruitment and Talent Development team is part of Global Human Resources at Scotiabank and plays a key role in attracting, hiring, and developing the next generation of leaders. As strategic partners to the business, we identify top early talent from across the globe and create meaningful experiences that support their growth and success. Developing future talent is at the heart of what we do, through innovative programs, tailored approaches, and strong business partnerships.

Is this role right for you?

As a Campus Recruiter, you'll report to the Senior Manager, Canadian Banking Campus Leader and play a key role in delivering end-to-end campus recruitment strategies. You'll build and nurture diverse talent funnels across Canada, manage candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle, and help connect top emerging talent with exciting career opportunities at Scotiabank.

  • Execute campus recruitment strategies and hiring initiatives across assigned business lines and geographies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with student talent, academic institutions, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage candidate sourcing, screening, assessment, offer delivery, and candidate tracking using recruitment technologies.
  • Plan and deliver campus events, networking opportunities, presentations, and large-scale recruitment initiatives.
  • Support social media and branding initiatives that enhance Scotiabank's presence on campus.
  • Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to drive successful recruitment outcomes.
  • Provide mentorship and support to members of the Campus Recruitment team.

This role requires moderate travel across Canada to universities and colleges, with occasional international travel opportunities. Due to the nature of campus recruitment, some evening and occasional weekend work will be required. We are committed to fostering a flexible and supportive work environment and work together as a team to make flexibility possible.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed?

At Scotiabank, we value skills, potential, and passion as much as experience. While campus recruitment experience is an asset, we provide training and development to help you succeed.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can effectively manage multiple priorities through strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Enjoys building meaningful relationships and collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, while leveraging strong communication and presentation skills to influence and engage others.
  • Brings creativity, curiosity, initiative, and a solutions-oriented mindset, with the adaptability and self-motivation to continuously learn, grow, and drive results.
  • Is excited by opportunities to make a meaningful impact, gain exposure to senior leaders, travel, and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

What’s in it for you?

  • The opportunity to join a forward-thinking and collaborative team, surrounded by innovative thinkers.
  • A rewarding career path with diverse opportunities for professional development
  • Internal training to support your growth and enhance your skills.
  • An inclusive working environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and celebrates success!
  • The tools needed to create best-in-class student candidate experiences.

About Scotiabank

The Scotiabank Veterans Network (SVN) is committed to supporting veterans, reservists, and military spouses by recognizing and valuing their unique skills and experiences. As a military-friendly employer, Scotiabank actively promotes the integration of veterans into civilian careers by offering a wide range of employment opportunities across the Bank.  SVN plays a key role in this effort, leading initiatives such as a mentorship program designed to support both current and transitioning veterans.

The team was instrumental in driving recent enhancements to Scotiabank’s reservist leave policy and organized the inaugural Valour and Vision Expo in Q4 2024, where industry leaders pledged to support veterans entering the civilian workforce.  In February 2025, Scotiabank proudly served as the lead Banking Sponsor of the Invictus Games, an international multi-sport event that aids in the rehabilitation of wounded, injured, and ill service members—both active and retired.

Additionally, SVN hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including leadership symposiums and annual Remembrance Day ceremonies, to honor and support the military community.
