Demonstrated knowledge of the corporate actions lifecycle, including mandatory reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, reverse stock splits, bankruptcies, liquidations, and entitlement processing.
Strong understanding of securities operations, asset servicing, custody functions, settlement processes, and equity and fixed income products.
Experience processing corporate action events, calculating entitlements, reconciling cash and stock positions, validating trades and positions, and resolving operational exceptions.
Ability to interpret corporate action announcements and apply industry market practices accurately and consistently.
Proficiency in industry systems such as DTCC, CDS, DTC, Broadridge, or similar securities processing platforms.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and reporting; working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and recommend effective solutions.
Knowledge of operational risk management, regulatory requirements, compliance standards, audit controls, and process governance principles.
Proven ability to assess risk, manage escalations, maintain operational integrity, and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, custodians, counterparties, and internal stakeholders.
Experience supporting process improvements, change management initiatives, and the implementation of new systems or operational enhancements.
Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, accountability, adaptability, and commitment to delivering high-quality client service.
Provides support and delivers specific operational processes to ensure timely and accurate settlement of Security, Derivative, Foreign Exchange and Money Market transactions executed globally, and confirms the activity is accurately recorded in the bank's book of records. Specific operational processes include pre and post settlement support related to account opening, confirmation, cash management, margin, and collateralization. Also provides support for specialized operations - Asset Servicing (corporate actions/entitlements), Correspondent Banking Services, and the Wire Payment Operations hub for the bank. Ensures compliance with all regulatory topics and reporting requirements related to the products and processes it supports.
