Your Opportunity We are currently seeking a Structural Designer to join the Energy and Resources Design team. The successful candidate would have opportunities to work on a variety of projects within the Energy and Resource sector ranging from studies to detailed engineering and construction support for projects in North America and across the world. This role would provide an opportunity to be part of a diverse team while focusing on technical growth. Work performed will be under the supervision of a Senior Designer or Engineer, working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions across the globe. Key Responsibilities - You are expected to understand and work according to the requirements of the Stantec Safety Culture and in compliance with all Health and Safety rules and regulations for Stantec and its clients. - Perform modeling, drafting and structural design tasks for a wide variety of projects. - Complete project deliverables on budget and schedule. - Work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and project teams to produce quality design deliverables with the appropriate level of detail. Your Capabilities and Credentials - Practical experience and understanding of design tools such as Revit and AutoCAD, or similar platforms. - Practical experience and understanding of CAD/BIM tools. - CompetentCompetence in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite. - Effective written and verbal communication skills. - A strong sense of teamwork, especially in remote collaborative environments. - An openness to grasp and adapt to new software or design techniques. - A basic understanding of design concepts, with an emphasis on structural design. - Graduate of Technical or College Course in Design/Drafting, or the ability to demonstrate sufficient knowledge received from previous experience in a similar position. - 0 to 5 years of experience in engineering consulting or the construction industry. Join us and redefine your personal best. #FeelingEnergized **Pay Range:** • Locations Outside of Lower Mainland - BC & Various locations in Ontario-$50,100.00 - $67,600.00 Annually • Locations in Lower Mainland - BC, GTA & Ottawa Ontario-$53,100.00 - $71,700.00 Annually **Pay Transparency:** In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
