The Team

 

We are part of the Global Risk and Treasury Engineering technology team, responsible for providing technical expertise on the bank’s FRTB Aggregation for Market Risk.

 

The Role

 

The candidate will need to interact with various stakeholders including Business Analysts from other systems, business stakeholders, developers, vendors, infrastructure, and Compliance. The incumbent will influence the enhancements of the technological solution in relation to architecture, workflow design, and feature development and provide subject matter expertise on the aggregation process in support of daily and monthly regulatory and management reporting requirements. This includes managing the third-part risk aggregation platform Atoti.

 

What will we expect from you?

 

  • Provide subject matter expertise to internal stakeholders regarding FRTB Market Risk aggregation and the Atoti application.
  • Provide daily support on business users’ impact analysis and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Strong technical knowledge on data and systems to lead the enhancement and maintenance of the risk application.
  • Contribute to projects and bank initiatives being on schedule and meeting regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Identify user requirements by working with key stakeholders from the business and IT, producing high-level business requirements and converting these into technical requirements in collaboration with developers from the team.
  • Follow the Software Development Life Cycle methodology and prepare test plans and test cases for IST testing.
  • Support users in UAT testing and conduct regression analysis for monthly releases.
  • Build relationships and communicate effectively with colleagues in all regions.

 

What You Will Bring to Succeed

 

  • Experience of managing projects that require coordination with multiple teams.
  • Experience with databases like SQL
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements to technical specifications and deliver working results
  • Understanding of market risk regulations and implementation of regulations
  • A recognized undergraduate degree in business, mathematics, computer science, or a related discipline.
  • Working knowledge of Agile Project Management, Risk Management, and Change Management skills
  • Knowledge of UNIX scripting and MDX queries, preferred
  • Experience with Airflow and similar scheduling tools, preferred.
