About the Opportunity
We’re hiring five Data Entry Specialists for a 1-month contract supporting a fast-paced records and information management environment in Burnaby, BC. This is a fully on-site opportunity for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy structured work, take pride in accuracy, and are comfortable balancing high-volume data entry with regular physical activity.

You’ll work as part of a collaborative operations team, reviewing medical files and accurately entering required information into a database. Approximately 95% of your day will involve seated data entry, with the remaining time spent moving document cartons between pallets and your workstation.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll review individual medical files and identify required data fields for accurate database entry
• You’ll maintain a consistent typing speed of 10,000 keystrokes per hour while achieving 100% accuracy through double-key verification
• You’ll carry cartons weighing approximately 30 to 50 lbs for distances of up to 20 feet every 5 to 7 minutes
• You’ll lift and lower cartons between pallets and workstations at heights ranging from approximately 13 to 45 inches
• You’ll return completed files to their appropriate cartons and storage locations while maintaining an organized workflow

Skills and Qualifications
• Previous data entry, records management, administrative, or similarly detail-focused experience
• Ability to consistently achieve 10,000 keystrokes per hour with exceptional accuracy
• Ability to safely lift and carry 30 to 50 lbs on a recurring basis throughout the workday
• Comfortable performing approximately 95% of duties from a seated position
• Ability to reliably commute to the Burnaby worksite 5 days per week
• Safety-toe footwear meeting ASTM F2413-11 requirements with a “Better” or “Best” slip-resistant rating
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to meet measurable productivity standards
