Salary: From $55, 000 to $60,000 per Year
 
Altis is excited to be growing its Federal Government Staffing Division and are seeking a relationship-driven Recruitment Partner to join our team. As a Recruitment Partner, you'll play an important role in helping our clients build high-performing teams across the Federal Government. You'll build meaningful relationships with candidates while identifying professionals whose experience, skills and career goals align with complex client requirements.

About the Opportunity

Success in this role is about more than finding great talent. It's about understanding each client's needs, carefully assessing every requirement and connecting the right candidate to the right opportunity. Like putting together a puzzle, you'll look beyond a résumé to determine how a candidate's experience fits each piece of a client's request.

You will thrive on complex recruitment challenges, including uncovering candidates’ relevant experience, achievements, and technical capabilities. Using these insights to develop strong, highly competitive bid submissions in collaboration with team members.

Working closely with your team, you'll contribute to competitive bid submissions by identifying and presenting qualified candidates who meet mandatory and rated requirements. Along the way, you'll provide an exceptional candidate experience built on trust, transparency and thoughtful guidance.

What You'll Do
Your main responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:
  • Build lasting, trust-based relationships with candidates by providing guidance and support throughout their recruitment journey.
  • Source, assess and engage highly qualified professionals for opportunities within the Federal Government.
  • Review client requirements and evaluate candidate experience against mandatory and rated criteria to identify the strongest possible match.
  • Collaborate with your team to support competitive bid submissions by identifying qualified candidates who align with client requirements.
  • Conduct screen calls and video interviews to assess technical qualifications, experience and overall suitability while creating a positive candidate experience.
  • Proactively identify talent through job postings, networking, referrals, internal databases and external sourcing platforms.
  • Participate in virtual and in-person networking events, career fairs and contractor engagement initiatives to grow and strengthen your talent pipeline.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by providing candidates with clear guidance on hiring processes, compensation expectations and career-related questions.
  • Complete reference checks, credential verification and other candidate validation activities in accordance with client and security requirements.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records to support a strong talent pipeline and efficient recruitment process.
  • Work with a sense of urgency while maintaining a high standard of quality, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Take ownership of your performance by consistently achieving recruitment goals and contributing to the success of the team.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and recruitment challenges with curiosity, resilience and a solutions-focused mindset

Skills and Qualifications

  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills 
  • Focused on driving client/candidate success and delivering the ultimate experience
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities quickly
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines
  • Natural curiosity about people, their backgrounds and experience
  • Passion for creating and fostering new relationships
  • You are a driven professional who is self-motivated for achieving and exceeding individual and team goals
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Technical aptitude in the use of business software and Microsoft Office Suite 
  • College or University education considered a strong asset
  • Knowledge of and experience with recruiting practices, candidate process management, behavioural interviewing skills and assessment techniques is an asset
