About the Opportunity
Were looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support a large-scale IT Infrastructure Refresh program within a complex public sector environment. Youll help shape technology solutions that strengthen critical infrastructure, working across networking, client computing, data centres, and related technology initiatives.
Working closely with project teams, technical specialists, and business stakeholders, youll turn complex needs into clear requirements and practical recommendations. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst who enjoys facilitating conversations, improving processes, and helping diverse teams move from current state to successful implementation.

The role offers exposure to complex enterprise technology projects, cross-functional stakeholders, and the full project lifecycle, with an initial 12-month engagement and potential for extension.
Your Responsibilities
Youll facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to document current and future state processes, business needs, data requirements, and integrations.
Youll translate business requirements into detailed solution and system requirements in partnership with technical teams.
Youll prepare fit-gap analyses, requirements traceability matrices, recommendations, workflows, and supporting documentation.
Youll assess existing solutions and identify opportunities to unify, streamline, or improve processes.
Youll validate analysis deliverables with business and technical stakeholders and obtain required approvals.
Youll support RFP statements of work, configuration, testing, deployment, change management planning, and project plans.
Youll prepare status updates and presentation materials for project stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications
7+ years of business analysis and process improvement experience, including extensive technology project delivery.
Bachelors degree plus formal training in business analysis and/or process improvement techniques.
Strong experience gathering and analyzing functional and technical requirements and translating business needs into system specifications.
IT infrastructure project experience involving networking, client computing, or data centres is highly preferred.
Experience with technical feasibility studies, dependencies, application road mapping, project governance, and data analysis.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Visio is required, along with experience using SharePoint.
CBAP or CCBA certification is an asset, complemented by strong facilitation, analytical, writing, and stakeholder communication skills.
