Duration: 1-year contract with strong potential for permanent conversion

About the Opportunity
We’re hiring a Financial Analyst to join a lean, collaborative finance team where you’ll take meaningful ownership of complex accounting, reporting and analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys digging beneath the numbers, applying strong accounting judgment and independently working through problems rather than simply processing information.

Working closely with finance leadership and stakeholders across the organization, you’ll become a trusted accounting resource while gaining broad exposure to financial reporting, contracts, controls and process improvement. This is a 1-year contract with strong potential for permanent conversion based on performance and organizational needs.

What’s In It for You
You’ll join a small team where your expertise, ideas and initiative will have a visible impact. You’ll gain exposure to senior finance leaders, complex accounting matters and cross-functional projects, with the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and build toward long-term career growth.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll review complex contracts and agreements, interpret financial terms and translate requirements into accurate calculations and reporting.
• You’ll prepare and analyze financial reporting, including GL activity, intercompany transactions and variance analysis.
• You’ll support month-end and year-end close through journal entries, reconciliations, research and financial statement analysis.
• You’ll independently investigate accounting issues, assess financial impacts and recommend practical solutions.
• You’ll provide accounting guidance to team members and act as a knowledgeable finance resource for internal stakeholders.
• You’ll support audits, internal controls and master data governance, including vendor and customer setup requirements.
• You’ll identify opportunities to strengthen processes, improve efficiency, manage risk and generate cost savings.

Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting or senior financial analysis experience.
• CPA designation strongly preferred, or significant progress toward completing your CPA designation.
• Strong accounting knowledge, including GL analysis, month-end close, financial statements, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, IF statements, lookups and financial functions.
• Experience with an ERP system is required, with SAP considered an asset.
• Strong critical thinking and research skills, with the ability to analyze information, identify discrepancies and develop solutions independently.
• Excellent attention to detail, stakeholder communication skills and a demonstrated track record of process improvement.
