About the Opportunity
An established manufacturing organization supporting the energy and electrical sectors is expanding its commercial team and hiring several Inside Sales Account Managers. These newly created permanent roles will primarily support a growing U.S. customer base, with some Canadian business, as the organization continues to expand through new business and acquisitions.
Reporting to a sales leader and joining an experienced team of seven, youll manage the full sales and order cycle while building trusted relationships with B2B customers. This is an opportunity for someone who is curious, commercially minded and comfortable navigating high-value transactions while delivering responsive, thoughtful service.
Whats In It for You
Youll join an open, easy-going team that values collaboration, learning and strong relationships. The role offers a salary of $70,000 to $80,000, three weeks of vacation, flexible benefits and a company pension contribution of 6%. Youll also receive extensive onboarding, with structured learning throughout your first 90 days and continued support as you grow into the role.
Your Responsibilities
Youll manage relationships with B2B customers, identifying opportunities and supporting continued sales growth.
Youll oversee customer quotations, pricing, follow-up and feedback on potential purchases.
Youll accurately process and monitor orders, proactively communicating shipment updates or potential delays.
Youll analyze customer and market needs to identify opportunities and provide recommendations that support business growth.
Youll resolve customer issues, coordinate product returns and escalate more complex concerns when required.
Youll share competitive intelligence, customer demand insights and sales opportunities with internal stakeholders and the broader sales team.
Skills and Qualifications
23+ years of inside sales or B2B sales experience, ideally within the electrical, manufacturing or a related industry.
Post-secondary education and experience managing business accounts and high-value transactions.
Strong relationship-building, negotiation and problem-solving skills, with a customer-focused approach.
Excellent written and spoken English communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. SAP experience is considered an asset.
A curious, adaptable mindset and genuine desire to learn. Industry experience is valued but not required.
