Manager, Canadian Wealth Management Finance
The Manager CWM Finance is a major provider of insightful financial analytics to support the business, and has responsibility for the accurate, comprehensive, timely preparation and financial analysis of business line information (sales marketing campaigns, profitability, forecasting, planning, etc) for use by executives and senior management in their decision-making process.
The incumbent is also responsible for maintaining and continuous improvement to models, matrix and analysis for iTRADE Finance and to support finance-related issues.
Key Accountabilities:
• Responsible for monthly database setup, maintenance, and extraction of financial information, ensuring data integrity
• Responsible for preparing and administering key business metrics and analysis using different MIS/Analytics tools; this process involves, but is not limited to:
o Account Segment & Client Segment Profitability analysis, etc.
o Monthly KPI’s
o Weekly Trades/DARTs reporting with commentary
• Provides resolutions for finance related issues through various revenue and cost analysis, and other P&L related ad-hoc inquiries from iTrade Management and Finance Management team.
• Works closely with Senior Management and department heads to resolve various reporting inquiries. Strong communication, interpersonal and customer focused skills are essential in addressing these inquiries promptly and accurately.
• Supports the analysis of the monthly, quarterly and annual results and forecast, including variance analysis, trend lines and benchmarking against best practices.
• Supports - Annual Planning Process:
o Updating planning models that drive revenue streams
o Preparation and distribution of the annual plan packages for all stakeholders
o Assist department managers in completing their budget packages
o Monitoring and uploading the budgets to the accounting system
o Preparation of consolidated and completion of analytics for the VP of Finance and other executives' review and approval
• Ad-Hoc requests (profitability, marketing campaigns, ect.)

• Ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities to ensure timely delivery while giving strong attention to detail.
• Must be proactive, be able to work independent, and have positive working attitude.
• The incumbent must be well organized with good problem solving skills, strong attention to detail, and have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Very strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills allowing effective interaction with senior management and team members.
Additional requirements:
o Advance knowledge of business-related computer software specifically Access, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint.
o Advanced analytical skills.
o A team player, willing to assist other members of the department and the organization in order to meet objectives.
o Knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) and PeopleSoft is an asset.
o Knowledge of financial accounting is an asset
Educational Requirements:
• University undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce or other related field;
• Minimum 5 years in finance or analytics function.
• Database management experience (Advance skills in Access, able to build queries, Macro, SQL experience) along with advanced Microsoft Office skills particularly in Excel.
• Power BI experience particularly in DAX formulas.
• Knowledge of the brokerage industry is an asset.
Working environment:
• Hybrid workplace with mix of in office and at home.

• Over-time required at peak periods, such as quarter-ends and annual planning season.
