The Role

The Data Analyst, Business Enablement (ECCO) plays a key role in supporting the Escalated Customer Concerns Office (ECCO) through data analysis and automation to deliver valuable insights for key business metrics.

 

Working in an extremely fast paced environment, the role is responsible for delivering on robust analytics, trending and reporting including audience-specific dashboards. Working collaboratively with the Manager, Analytics & Business Intelligence, ECCO leadership team, and colleagues across the department, the Data Analyst maintains and delivers on a portfolio of reporting on key business and client metrics that drive data-driven decisions for the business.

 

Supporting the Manager, Analytics & Business Intelligence and Senior Manager, Business Enablement on ongoing programs, projects, and ad-hoc initiatives to uncover patterns, trends, and relationships among large disparate datasets to produce operational, business, and client insights.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

 

  • Champion a customer-focused culture and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Execute on activities to support identification and use of technology and tools for automation, issues management, data aggregation and analytics to deliver consistent outputs across the department.
  • Perform duties aligned with the data strategy to deliver on robust analytics and reporting, including audience-specific reports and dashboards.
  • Assist in integration of automation and technological solutions into operational processes; including ways to work more efficiently through the application of AI.
  • Maintain, expand, and deliver portfolio of reporting to communicate operational successes and challenges with senior leadership
  • Supporting the Manager, Analytics & Business Intelligence and Senior Manager, Business Enablement on ongoing programs, projects, and ad-hoc initiatives to uncover patterns, trends, and relationships among large disparate datasets to allow insights into the impact of volumes on productivity to better understand risk environments
  • Support and contributes to a high-performance and inclusive work environment, aligning individual goals to that of Escalated Customer Concerns Office, Strategy & Operations, and the Bank.
  • Take an ongoing interest in the field of data analytics and identifies key opportunities to improve operations and internal business partner satisfaction

 

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

 

  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics/reporting and technology
  • Prior experience in a data or compliance-focused role in the financial services industry an asset
  • Advanced proficiencies in Power BI and Excel (Power Query, Data Model/Power Pivot)
  • Experience with Python and knowledge of ETL methodologies, data modelling and reporting automation
  • Practical experience with SQL and data visualization methods/software
  • Good working knowledge of trending, reporting, and delivering executive level dashboards
  • Knowledge/experience with building and maintaining Microsoft Copilot Agents is an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated; demonstrated ability to multi-task and deliver in a fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic business environment with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop working relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and enterprise data requirements
  • Strong planning and analytical skills, ability to prioritize and focus on critical issues
