Your Responsibilities

• You'll partner with operational leaders to deliver strategic and practical HR solutions that support business performance across multiple sites.
• You'll lead employee relations matters, workplace investigations, and provide coaching on performance management, policy interpretation, and disciplinary processes.
• You'll collaborate with Labour Relations partners on grievance management, collective bargaining preparation, and union-related matters across multiple collective agreements.
• You'll support talent acquisition, onboarding, succession planning, organizational development, and leadership coaching initiatives.
• You'll analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to provide insights that help shape business decisions and improve organizational effectiveness.
• You'll build trusted relationships through regular travel to operational sites, promoting a strong culture of safety, collaboration, and employee engagement.

Skills and Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with a strong foundation in employee and labour relations within a business partnering environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline. CPHR designation is considered an asset.
• Experience supporting complex unionized environments, including employee relations, investigations, grievance management, and collective bargaining support.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and trust with stakeholders at all levels, from executive leadership to frontline employees.
• Demonstrated ability to balance strategic business partnership with hands-on HR delivery in a lean, fast-paced environment.
• Strong influencing, negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills with the ability to build credibility from executive leaders to frontline employees.
• Experience supporting operational, industrial, manufacturing, construction, utilities, forestry, mining, or other blue-collar environments is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP SuccessFactors, and HR systems. Google Workspace experience is considered an asset.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively throughout British Columbia, with occasional travel into the Pacific Northwest.
