As an Office Building  Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in an Office setting

Responsibilities for Office Building Security Guard

• Deter criminal activity 
• Engage in visible deterrence through their presence and adhering to security procedures
• Performing   Interior and Exterior Patrol with G-Track at the Premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence and to identify potential risks
• Enforce Property regulations and city Bi- Laws on the client's site.
• Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
• Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches
• Performing environmental checks – water leaks, excessive air flow, unusual noises etc
• Complete Daily reports .
• Provide Excellent customer service.
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns

Qualifications for Office Building Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Manitoba security license
• First aid certification an asset
• Exceptional customer service skills
•  Be able to work Evenings
• Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a stressful environment
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
