Financial Reporting Analyst role open now in downtown Calgary! 18-month contract, $40/hour+ Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Financial Reporting Analyst in the oil and gas sector in Calgary, Alberta. We're working with our client to hire a Financial Reporting Analyst for their financial reporting team. This is an 18 month contract with a high change of being hired permanently. Perfect person for this role has around 3 years of financial reporting experience, their CPA, and fluency with SAP. What's in it for you: $40.00 - $48.00 hourly 18-month contract with chance of extension and permanent hire Hybrid work model in downtown Calgary office (3 days in-office per week) Joining a supportive and collaborative team Responsibilities: Support preparation and compilation of MD&A. Prepare financial statement notes and disclosures. Perform account reconciliations and financial analysis. Prepare and maintain working papers. Manage reporting responsibilities for either pension plans or standalone financial statements. Assist with Statistics Canada and U.S. statistical reporting. Support quarterly, annual, and hard-close reporting cycles. Requirements: 3+ years of accounting/financial reporting experience CPA designation; near-completion of CPA also considered Strong financial reporting experience (at least 3 years) – experience with ownership of a reporting portfolio US GAAP knowledge Fluency with SAP and Power BI Experience performing reconciliations and financial analysis Experience preparing working papers and supporting reporting packages This posting is for an active opening.
