We're working with our oil and gas client to hire a senior Financial Analyst, IT for their information services team. Perfect person for this role has 15 years of experience as a financial analyst, experience overseeing third-party vendor spend, and strong fluency with SAP. What's in it for you: $53.00 - $62.00 hourly One-year contract with chance of permanent hire Hybrid work model in downtown Calgary Joining a team of 8 Responsibilities: Support corporate tax compliance, tax reporting, and tax provision activities for domestic and international entities. Assist with transfer pricing documentation, surplus calculations, and other tax-related analyses. Prepare financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses to support business decision-making. Monitor operating expenditures and provide insights on financial performance, risks, and opportunities. Develop and maintain financial dashboards, reporting tools, and key performance indicators. Partner with Accounting, Legal, Treasury, Finance, and business stakeholders to support financial and tax initiatives. Support vendor and contract financial management, including spend tracking, accruals, purchase orders, and renewals. Ensure compliance with financial policies, governance requirements, internal controls, and reporting standards. Requirements: 15+ years of experience as a financial analyst Experience overseeing third-party vendor spending in an IT procurement space Fluency with SAP CPA preferred Experienced with translating technical finance data to senior leadership Bachelor's degree in accounting Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analysis, and business performance reviews Experience in large corporate, technology, telecommunications, or shared services environments; FinOps certification or cloud cost management knowledge is an asset This posting is for an active opening.
