We are currently seeking Casual on Call Night Security Guards to support operations within Various Calgary Sites. This respected, high‑responsibility role is essential in ensuring safety, security, and operational continuity.

About the Role

In this position, you will provide a visible and professional security presence while protecting people, property, and assets. Responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, monitoring site activity, responding to incidents and emergencies, controlling access points, preparing detailed reports, and delivering exceptional customer service. Security Guards serve as the first line of defense in maintaining safe and secure environments.

What You Bring

  • Valid Alberta Security License
  • Valid First Aid & CPR Certification
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Drivers License, Class 5
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations
  • Strong observation, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities
  • Previous security, customer service, or public-facing experience is considered an asset

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to perform routine foot patrols indoors and outdoors
  • Ability to climb stairs and navigate large sites as required
  • Ability to respond quickly and effectively during incidents and emergencies

Working Conditions

  • 8-12 hour overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required
  • Work may be performed in indoor and outdoor environments under varying weather conditions
  • Assignments may vary based on operational and client requirements
