You'll work closely with HR, Payroll, leaders, employees, and external partners to ensure an exceptional employee experience while supporting strategic projects, system enhancements, and benefit plan improvements. Your Responsibilities
You'll administer pension and benefits programs while ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and governance requirements.
You'll serve as a trusted resource for employees, HR, Payroll, and leaders by providing guidance on benefits and pension inquiries.
You'll partner with vendors to resolve claims, coverage issues, billing, and service-related matters while recommending practical solutions.
You'll support annual enrolment activities, pension filings, audits, year-end processes, financial reporting, and regulatory submissions.
You'll lead or support Total Rewards projects, including benefits implementations, system enhancements, testing, and process improvements.
You'll prepare reports, presentations, and communications while collaborating across cross-functional teams.
Skills and Qualifications
4 to 6+ years of progressive pension and benefits experience supporting Canadian programs.
Experience administering both pension and benefits programs, including Defined Benefit plans and Group RRSPs.
Strong knowledge of Canadian benefits legislation, compliance requirements, and pension administration.
Experience working with SAP or comparable HRIS platforms, with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
College diploma or university degree. CEBS designation or progress toward completion is considered an asset.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities, supporting projects, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills with a customer-focused approach.
