Senior Accountant

Location: Toronto, ON, Hybrid (3 days on-site)

Compensation: $75,000 base salary

Your Responsibilities

• In this role, you’ll own month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• You’ll prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

• You’ll support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis alongside finance leadership.

• You’ll maintain strong internal controls and contribute to audit readiness.

• You’ll act as a technical accounting resource for junior accountants and internal partners.

• You’ll work closely with non-finance stakeholders, translating financial information into clear, actionable insights.

Skills and Qualifications

• 2–3 years of progressive accounting experience in an operational environment.

• Strong hands-on experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

• Comfortable taking ownership of work and managing priorities independently.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with leadership and non-finance teams.

• Experience in a non-profit or startup-style environment is considered an asset.

• CPA designation or progress toward CPA is a plus.
