Responsibilities for Casual Security Guard

Maintain a safe and secure environment.
Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols.
Monitor and control site access.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
Monitor CCTV and security systems.
Provide excellent customer service.
Complete incident reports and activity logs.
Liaise with emergency services and site management.
Enforce site policies and safety procedures.
Provide reception and concierge security services as needed.
Perform lock-up/unlock procedures and security checks.
Assist with emergency evacuations when required.
Operate security and communication equipment.
Perform site-specific security duties as assigned.

Qualifications for Casual Security Guard

Be authorized to work in Canada
Hold a valid BC security license
First aid certification - an asset
BC Driver's licence - an asset
Ability to work/pick up minimum 3 shifts per month
Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
Strong problem-solving skills
