The Rapid Response Guard is considered a special class of Security Guard who works directly with the Security Operations Center of Commissionaires Manitoba for all of their assignments. Flexible and capable, they are on-call guards who are on a special contract with guaranteed weekly pay hours. Rapid Response Guard train at multiple sites for all types of shifts/timings and can be called in or rerouted to ensure that manning requests are met for our Clients. Rapid Response Guards have opportunities for travel, special duties, and working inside the Headquarters.
Rapid Response Guards are the face of the Corps and guests at our Clients’ sites working with the site’s Commissionaires. With exceptional customer services skills, reporting abilities, and the potential to become a leader, Rapid Response Guards learn the ins and outs about Commissionaires Manitoba as Canada’s only non-profit Security Company supporting veterans, former members of the RCMP and anyone interested in the security and safety of our communities.
This is a demanding role that requires the ability to learn new information/duties, retention of lessons, and application of critical thinking to be successful in the long-term.
Qualifications:

Must have 5 or more years in the country to acquire a Security clearance status.

A valid Security guard license will be required.

Proficiency in written and oral communication

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office and equipment.

Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organizational skills needed in a fast-paced environment.

Positive and professional attitude with strong customer service skills.

Must be physically fit and assertive, including the ability to conduct extensive foot patrols.

Valid Full Class 5 Driver’s License with acceptable Driver’s Abstract

Minimum of two (2) years of Security experience in field operations or a combination with customer service/retail industry experience

All Shifts, 7 days per week
Part time with an on-call schedule – Guaranteed minimum 56hrs in a pay period and minimum 24hrs per week. Opportunity to pick up to 40hrs/week.
