We are currently seeking Casual on Call Curbside Patrollers to support operations within Calgary International Airport (YYC). This respected, high‑responsibility role is essential in ensuring safety, security, and operational continuity.

About the Role

In this position, you will support curbside operations by monitoring vehicle and pedestrian activity, ensuring compliance with airport curbside rules, and assisting passengers as needed. You will maintain a visible presence on the curb, interact regularly with travelers, assist people with disabilities, respond to incidents, and work closely with Terminal Patrol and the Operations Centre to ensure a safe and efficient curbside environment.

What You Bring

  • Valid Alberta Security License
  • Valid First Aid & CPR Certification
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Driver’s License, Class 5
  • Valid and Current Transportation Security Clearance (RAIC)
  • Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive environment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during 12-hour shifts
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to perform frequent curbside patrols covering large terminal areas

Working Conditions

  • 12-hour, day and overnight shifts required
  • Majority of shifts in outdoor work environment
  • Exposure to varying and inclement weather conditions
