Position Summary
The Security Compliance Officer (SCO) is responsible for monitoring contractors, vendors, and other authorized personnel working within Restricted and Critical Areas of Halifax Stanfield International Airport. This role ensures compliance with Transport Canada regulations, the Halifax International Airport Authority (HIAA) Security Program, and site-specific safety requirements through continuous monitoring, access control, and enforcement of security procedures.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a casual, part-time, project-based position. Project durations may range from one day to two years and may require day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Compensation:$25.00 per hour
Major Responsibilities
Training for these posts will be provided during on-the-job training, if a candidate is successful.
