About the Opportunity
Join a major Ontario energy organization at a pivotal time as they modernize their financial planning capabilities. As the Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Project Manager, you'll lead the implementation of a new enterprise planning, budgeting, and forecasting platform that will strengthen financial decision-making across the organization.
Working closely with Finance, IT, business leaders, and external vendors, you'll oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning and requirements gathering through deployment and adoption. Your Responsibilities
You'll lead the end-to-end implementation of a business planning, budgeting, and forecasting solution, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.
You'll partner with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to define project objectives, priorities, and success measures.
You'll oversee project governance, risk management, testing, deployment, and post-implementation reviews.
You'll coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors while driving stakeholder engagement and user adoption.
You'll monitor project progress, provide executive status updates, and maintain project documentation throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Skills and Qualifications
10+ years of IT Project Management experience leading enterprise financial systems implementations.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification.
Experience implementing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, or Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions such as Anaplan, Workday Adaptive, Oracle EPM, OneStream, Planful, Prophix, Vena, or similar platforms integrated with SAP.
Strong understanding of FP&A processes, statutory reporting, and financial best practices.
Experience delivering large-scale projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with exceptional stakeholder management and change leadership skills.
