The Senior Technical Analyst supports the stability, performance, and reliability of enterprise cloud-based systems by combining technical analysis, operational support, and system coordination. 

This role focuses on analyzing issues, supporting operations, and collaborating with engineering and application teams to ensure smooth system functionality. You will contribute to improving operational processes, monitoring system health, and supporting cloud-based environments. 

You will also assist in implementing tools, documenting processes, and supporting monitoring capabilities to enable effective response to operational events. 

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will: 

 

  • Support system reliability and operational stability across infrastructure and applications 
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve system performance and availability 
  • Analyze and troubleshoot system issues, coordinating resolution with engineering teams 
  • Follow established best practices for system reliability and operational support 
  • Support the operation and maintenance of cloud environments (Azure and/or GCP) 
  • Assist in monitoring system health using observability and alerting tools 
  • Help coordinate activities related to performance, access management, and recovery processes 
  • Contribute to documentation of system configurations and operational procedures 
  • Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes 
  • Support incident triage, investigation, and documentation of root causes 
  • Maintain and update runbooks, knowledge articles, and operational documentation 
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of production issues 
  • Collaborate with engineering and application teams to support system enhancements 
  • Analyze trends in incidents and system performance to recommend improvements 
  • Support implementation of process improvements and operational efficiencies 
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and team discussions 

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have: 

 

  • 3–5 years of experience in Technical Systems Analysis, IT Operations, or related roles 
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications or cloud-based systems 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills 
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) 
  • Familiarity with cloud environments and distributed systems concepts 
  • Exposure to containerized environments (e.g., Kubernetes) is an asset 
  • Understanding of system availability, reliability, and security fundamentals 
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code concepts (e.g., Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines 
  • Exposure to version control systems (e.g., GitHub) 
  • Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) is an asset 
  • Awareness of automation and configuration tools 
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Dynatrace or similar) 
  • Understanding of incident, problem, and change management processes 
  • Ability to analyze logs and system metrics for issue investigation 
  • Experience working in Agile or Lean environments
