Our client, a large public sector organization, is seeking an experienced Strategic Communications Consultant to support a portfolio of high-profile enterprise initiatives. Your Responsibilities

• You'll provide strategic communications advice to directors and senior leaders, supporting enterprise priorities and transformation initiatives.
• You'll develop and execute communication strategies and change communication plans for complex, cross-functional projects.
• You'll create executive-ready materials, including briefing notes, presentations, key messages, and reporting summaries that support informed decision-making.
• You'll translate complex information into clear, audience-focused communications while ensuring consistency across multiple initiatives.
• You'll coordinate communication activities across concurrent projects, aligning stakeholders, timelines, and messaging.
• You'll build trusted relationships across the organization, influencing diverse stakeholder groups and fostering collaboration without formal authority.

Skills and Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in strategic communications, corporate communications, marketing, public affairs, or a related field.
• Proven experience advising Director-level leaders and above on communications strategy.
• Demonstrated success supporting enterprise transformation, organizational change, or large-scale strategic initiatives.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and influencing skills in large, complex organizations.
• Experience preparing executive communications, including briefing notes, presentations, and strategic reporting materials.
• Proficiency with digital communication tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and intranet platforms.
