The role:


The Senior Delivery Manager, Enterprise Delivery Office supports Director-level leadership in the end-to-end management of projects within the Enterprise Delivery Office (EDO) Wealth Management portfolio. This role is accountable for leading project execution, coordination across workstreams, risk and issue management, and delivery governance. The Senior Manager partners closely with business, technology, and external vendors to ensure programs are delivered within scope, timeline, and budget, while progressively maturing delivery practices and ways of working.

 


What will you do?

 

  • Project Delivery: Lead day-to-day planning and execution of project initiatives within the Wealth Management portfolio, ensuring alignment to approved objectives, milestones, and delivery plans.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with business, technology, and delivery partners to manage expectations, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Planning & Execution: Develop and maintain integrated delivery plans, schedules, RAID logs, and dependency tracking across multiple workstreams.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify, track, and escalate risks and issues with clear mitigation strategies and recommendations for decision-making.
  • Governance & Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely status reporting for Director and VP-level forums, including financials, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
  • Agile & Delivery Practices: Support delivery within Agile, hybrid, or waterfall environments and contribute to continuous improvement of delivery standards and practices.
  • Financial & Resource Management: Track project budgets, forecasts, and vendor spend; support cost control and resource planning activities.
  • Quality & Controls: Ensure adherence to Enterprise Delivery Frameworks, technology standards, audit requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • Change & Priority Management: Support scope, schedule, and priority changes by analyzing impacts and facilitating informed trade-off decisions.
  • People & Capability Development: Provide coaching and mentorship to project managers and analysts; contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team environment.
  • Risk Culture: Understand and apply the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture in day-to-day decision-making and delivery activities.
  • Values & Conduct: Promote effective and efficient operations aligned with Scotiabank’s Values, Code of Conduct, and operational risk expectations.

What do you need to succeed?

 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Project Management, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of project or program management experience, preferably within financial services or large enterprises with specific experience in Wealth Management
  • Experience leading technology and/or business delivery initiatives in large, complex organizations, preferably within financial services or Wealth Management environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile, hybrid and waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex delivery plans, dependencies, and risks
  • Experience supporting large technology or business transformation initiatives
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Exposure to enterprise delivery frameworks and governance models
  • PMP, ACP, or equivalent certification preferred
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
