As a key member of the Global Wealth Management AI Product Team, the AI Business Analyst supports the delivery of innovative AI-powered solutions that enhance advisor effectiveness and create meaningful value for clients across Canada and global markets. The incumbent contributes to the successful execution of strategic AI initiatives by partnering with business, technology, and data stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop capabilities, and drive adoption of AI-enabled products. This role plays an important part in advancing the organization's AI strategy while ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, risk frameworks, and operational standards. Through a client-focused and collaborative approach, the individual helps translate business needs into impactful AI solutions that strengthen the advisor and client experience.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Gather, analyze, and document detailed business, functional, and non-functional requirements and translate high-level epics into user stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear and consistent communication 
  • Analyze and model business processes to identify inefficiencies and define AI-enabled improvements 
  • Document AI-specific workflows, including input/output expectations, model-supported decisions, evaluation criteria, and human-review steps 
  • Support backlog grooming and participate in agile ceremonies to ensure readiness for development 
  • Partner with Product Owners, design, engineering, QA, and risk teams to ensure solutions are clearly specified, testable, and governed

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • A University degree, college diploma, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in digital business analysis or comparable business-analysis roles
  • Experience in wealth management, financial services, or fintech industry preferred
  • Experience supporting enterprise AI, data / model-driven, digital automation, or advanced analytics initiatives is strongly preferred
  • Experience illustrating and documenting business processes
  • Training & experience in Agile working models
  • Experience writing user stories and documenting acceptance criteria
  • Strong financial services industry experience
  • Demonstrated superior computer skills, including MS Visio, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
  • The ability to present and tailor the message based on the audience
  • Strong analytical capability, are detail-oriented and comfortable working through ambiguity in AI-enabled problem spaces
