About the Opportunity

TerraHR Consulting is proud to be partnering with an established Ontario consulting engineering firm with a strong reputation for delivering municipal infrastructure and land development projects. 

About the Role

As a Project Manager in the Ottawa office for Land Development, you’ll lead a variety of private and public sector projects focused on Site Plans and Plans of Subdivision throughout Ontario. You’ll manage projects through planning, design, and contract administration while providing technical direction, building strong client relationships, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead land development projects by establishing scope, budgets, schedules, and project work plans
  • Manage multiple projects and technical direction through planning, design, and contract administration, including financial performance
  • Prepare detailed project reports, proposals, and supporting technical documentation
  • Support Civil 3D design and drafting activities to meet project deliverables and schedules, as required
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subconsultants

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field, with a P.Eng., C.E.T., or C.Tech. designation
  • 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience with strong land development expertise, including Site Plans, Plans of Subdivision, servicing, grading, stormwater management and LID
  • Proven experience leading projects through design and contract administration, including budgets, schedules, tender documents, project closeout and municipal infrastructure requirements
  • Strong client relationship, leadership and mentoring skills, with experience guiding technical teams and proficiency with relevant civil design software such as Civil 3D and AutoCAD
