Experienced Well Lifecycle & Regulatory Specialist | End-to-End Licensing, Reporting & Data Management Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Contract Wells Analyst in the Oil & Gas – Upstream Operations / Regulatory Compliance in Calgary, Alberta. An experienced well lifecycle professional is sought to manage regulatory compliance, licensing, and data integrity from initial application through to reclamation. This role supports fast-paced drilling and completions activities, ensuring accurate reporting, strong stakeholder collaboration, and timely submissions across multiple well stages within Western Canada. Total rewards: $49.00 - $55.00 hourly Work on high-impact upstream projects across full well lifecycle Collaborate with multidisciplinary asset and technical teams Gain exposure to multi-provincial regulatory frameworks Develop expertise in industry-leading well data systems Competitive compensation aligned to experience Opportunity to influence corporate reporting and decision making Dynamic, fast-paced environment with varied responsibilities Career growth within regulatory, operations, and data domains A typical day: Manage partner data exchange and contractual reporting obligations Coordinate well licensing applications and ensure regulatory compliance Submit drilling and completions data including frac data and logs Maintain accurate well lifecycle data within internal systems Manage well file documentation from acquisition through reclamation Submit abandonment and reclamation data to regulators Track and process well status changes and lifecycle updates Receive, validate, and submit well testing information Successful candidates will have: Demonstrate 7–10 years of experience in well reporting or D&C support Hold certification in Petroleum Land or related technical training Apply strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and licensing processes Interpret and analyse downhole and completions data accurately Manage multiple concurrent deadlines across lifecycle stages Exhibit high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Communicate regulatory requirements and timelines clearly Bring experience working with wells across Western Canadian jurisdictions This posting is for future talent planning and does not reflect a current vacancy.
