Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Completions Supervisor in the Oil and Gas Sector in Calgary, Alberta. Our client is seeking an experienced SAGD Completions Wellsite Supervisor to oversee the safe and efficient execution of thermal well completion programs. This on-site leadership role will coordinate contractors, manage daily operations, drive HSE performance, and ensure successful well handover while supporting continuous operational improvement. Total rewards: $112.50 hourly Day rate of $1350 Long-term contract opportunity with no defined end date Potential opportunity to transition into a permanent position Consistent 12-hour shifts supporting active SAGD operations Work with one of North America's fastest-growing heavy oil producers A typical day: Supervise SAGD completion operations, including liners, sand control, cleanouts, artificial lift, and pressure testing Ensure completion activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved programs Lead daily safety meetings and uphold all HSE standards and procedures Exercise stop-work authority when unsafe conditions are identified Coordinate and oversee service companies and contractor activities on site Provide accurate daily reports, operational updates, and risk assessments Identify and implement opportunities to reduce non-productive time (NPT) Successful candidates will have: 7+ years of oilfield experience with SAGD completions Previous wellsite supervision or senior field leadership experience Strong understanding of SAGD well designs and completion operations Experience with multi-well pad developments Proven ability to manage contractors and service providers Strong knowledge of HSE standards and regulatory compliance This posting is for an active opening.
